Working from home sometimes get a bad reputation. When you live, work and play in the same place you can lack routine, it can be isolating and, at times, very repetitive.
But if one good thing has come out of the Covid pandemic, it’s that it’s redefined working from home. Remote work has come a long way, and the opportunities to work from home in 2022 are more promising than ever before.
Work-from-home job ads, including those offering “permanent” work from home, increased massively in 2021, with Office for National Statistics (ONS) figures saying the proportion of working adults who did any work from home in 2020 increased to 37 per cent on average from 27 per cent in 2019 with workers living in London the most likely to homework.
When asked about homeworking, working adults stated work-life balance was the greatest positive, while challenges of collaboration were the greatest negative.
But in addition to permanent work from home roles, temporary work from home positions are also popular these days with the Government having advised that, if possible, people should be avoiding the office.
So, if you’re looking for some remote job opportunities in 2022, we’ve done the work for you and compiled some of the best work-from-home jobs available in Cornwall right now.
Take a look below at what we found.
