Zoom and bust: why home working’s a disaster – The Times

Last autumn, just after Elon Musk acquired the company, a video posted by a Twitter employee went viral on YouTube. Titled, “Day in my life at the Twitter office”, it chronicles, in a minute and a half, a new worker’s typical day at the social media company.

It begins with the excited freshman grabbing a matcha drink from the bottomless beverage dispensary then proceeds, by way of the office’s relaxing “log cabin”, through a sumptuous looking lunch, to a table football contest, on to the meditation room, which is next to the yoga room, until it ends with a sunbathing session on the rooftop fuelled by unlimited glasses of red wine in the soft California twilight.
