A RESOURCE guide to remote working and meetings in Andover has been published to help people find places to work remotely.
Andover BID launched the helpful guide last week as an “invaluable resource” to help people find places within Andover to work remotely, as well as hold meetings.
The idea is to link town centre businesses such as cafes and pubs to those who need to book a meeting room and who might not know what is available in the town, as well as those workers wanting somewhere to sit, have a coffee and use the WiFi.
According to Andover BID, “working remotely has become much more commonplace and particularly since Covid”.

A spokesperson said: “With this comes the need to find alternative places to work from, or to hold a meeting.
“The guide is designed to be a starting point to find places where you can work remotely in Andover and to encourage more people to take advantage of the remote working opportunities that are available in the town centre businesses. It’s a win-win for both remote workers and local businesses.”
The John Russell Fox, JD Wetherspoons pub, in Andover is one of the places included in the guide.
Its manager Barry Price said: “We are delighted to have been included in the new guide and have already seen additional people coming into the pub seeking use of our facilities.
“We have six booths that people particularly like, each with charging points for their phones and laptops and in this colder weather, the demand has increased – thank you to the BID for your support of local businesses.”
